Dutch Harbor Alaska

Alaska is the last frontier on planet Earth. I mean that in many more ways than one. I spent three months in Dutch Harbor, Alaska working for Westward Seafoods and let me tease you by saying that it was not pleasant and the photography was the highlight. I would not recommend working for Westward but I would recommend a visit to Alaska, as long as you have a camera. I would also recommend that every environmental organization send emissaries and spies to Westward Seafoods processing plant in order to expose their plundering of the oceans and their treatment of employees.

        San Diego International Airport, also known as Lindbergh Field offers free Terminals To Tarmac tours and they are one of the hidden gems of San Diego. You will learn more about the airport and air travel in two hours than you would learn from two years of traveling through the airport. Everything from the sunny aesthetic choices to the private jet area of the runway are covered. Don't miss out on this one!

Las Vegas is one of those places that everyone should experience at least once in their life. After your first time, you'll know what I mean. You can be whatever you want for the duration of your stay. Whatever you are back at home get checked at the door and once you do that, you will have the time of your life.

        Alaska holds some amazing opportunities for photographers. The night sky is full of stars and the daytime sky is full of bald eagles. The Bering Sea plays host to a slew of islands and wildlife that most people never get to see.
