The problem with being a freelance photographer is also the greatest thing about being a freelance photographer, and that is that you are technically unemployed most of the time. You are only as valuable as your last photo, you are only as good as your last award and you are only as rich or poor as your last gig. It is a rough life, but it still beats working in a warehouse or an office for 40 hours a week.

That being said, the photo above shows one of the greatest components of solace ever produced. A shot consisting of 1 part cherry vodka and 1 part cran-cherry juice is a remedy that every sick, Ni-Quil addicted fiend AND every unemployed photographer can easily understand.
